People from all around the world are attracted to de Anza Desert Club for the fabulous Borrego Springs golf in conjunction with the desert’s beauty and tranquility. Located 90 minutes from Palms Springs and San Diego, de Anza Desert Club is a great escape from the hustle and bustle. And for people who desire the outdoors, de Anza Desert Club is surrounded by the grandeur of the 600,000-acre Anza Borrego State Park, California’s largest state park. Borrego Springs provides you with ample opportunity to bike, hike, photograph and explore around some of the most scenic locations in Southern California. The membership is comprised of people from across the United States, as well as "snowbirds" hailing from Canada, trading their harsh winter for California's mild weather. With over 250 sunny days each year, Borrego Springs is the perfect climate for your golf club lifestyle. The beautifully developed clubhouse facilities – including the Main Dining Room, Garden Room and Coyote Den - offer a wide variety of activity and culinary delights to club members. Officially listed as an International Dark Sky Community, the first in California, the community of Borrego Springs is dedicated to protecting the night sky from light pollution. Also evoking community pride is the local art scene. From the supersize, prehistoric metal sculptures to galleries featuring local artists, a plein air painting event to the Circle of Art Show and Candlewood Art Festival every spring, Borrego Springs inspires creatives with its tranquil beauty on a daily basis. At de Anza we are surrounded by beautiful, mystic wildlife which we love and respect. During the autumn months we are visited by a heard of Bighorn sheep as our club boarders the Anza Borrego State Park. We also have Great Horned Owls, Barn Owls, Red Tail and Cooper Hawks, plus wild Turkeys and Coyotes that are seen consistently on or around the de Anza community. Our members are active. They often gather in groups to experience all that the Borrego valley has to offer. Our mild winter climate allows our members to enjoy traditional warmer weather activities during the Borrego winter.
Our wonderful and diverse members enjoy a variety of fun social, dining and cultural events. Some of these events are weekly while other events are annual or semi-annual. Every week you can be as social as you desire.
