GUEST POLICIES
As a member you may bring your guest(s) to enjoy all the de Anza has to offer. Guests must follow all club rules and health & safety guidelines.
Non-family member guests may use the club a maximum of two (2) times per month as a guest of any member and must be accompanied by the hosting member.
A maximum of seven (7) golf guests are permitted per visit. A group of eight (8) or more guests will be considered a tournament group and will receive a group rate based on the size of their group and food & beverage utilization if any.
Member must be present to receive the member-guest discounted green fee. Unattended guests will not receive a member-guest discounted green fee. Club Social Members do not qualify for any Unlimited Member Guest discounted green fees.

Spouses
do not qualify as guests and must participate in a membership classification to utilize the club’s services.
Prior Season non-renewing Members are not permitted as guests of Members
Club Social members are not permitted as guests Unlimited Golf Members for play in Unlimited Golf Member tournaments.
ELECTRONIC DEVICES
Cellular phones must be on vibrate or a silent mode at all times and shall be used in a manner which does not interfere with other Members’ and/or guests’ enjoyment of the Club Facilities. Non-emergency use of cellular phones is prohibited in dining areas.
ATTIRE
de Anza Desert Country Club’s Dress Code is designed to enhance the overall Club experience for all our members, families, and guests, while reflecting and preserving our standard of excellence, Club culture and traditions.
We all take great pride in the quality of the environment at de Anza Desert Country Club and the Dress Code is an important part of maintaining that feel. Please cooperate with management staff as they enforce Dress Code to uphold the club culture our “Desert Hideaway”. Members will be notified of any violation of the Dress Code.
Members are fully responsible for informing their guests of the Dress Code and acceptable attire. In addition, parents have the responsibility to provide clear guidance to their children and ensure that they are adhering to the Dress Code. The Dress Code will always apply unless specifically modified for a Club event.
If in doubt about suitable attire for any specific event, please call the Membership office at 760-767-5105 Option 1.
Clubhouse & Dining – Morning to 5:00pm
Golf Patio, The Phoenix
For men, a collared shirt tucked in is required unless such shirt has a straight, flat cut bottom or short length bottom designed to be worn untucked. Turtleneck and quarter-zip sweaters are acceptable. Slacks, knee length shorts, appropriate jeans and denim clothing are allowed for both men and women. Jeans or denim clothing must be in overall good and tasteful condition (torn, frayed, tattered, paint splattered, white-washed or oversized jeans or denim clothing are strictly prohibited). Appropriate women’s attire includes dresses, slacks, medium-length skirts and shorts, golf shirts/blouses and golf outerwear. Golf shirts may be sleeveless shirts with a collar or collarless shirts with sleeves. Racquet attire only allowed with appropriate pullover or quarter zip when entering indoor dining. Children’s attire follows the same guidelines as men’s and women.
Caps/visors are to be worn always facing forward. After 5:00pm, men and women must remove golf caps/visors inside the clubhouse.
Clubhouse & Dining – 5:00pm – Close

For men appropriate attire includes dress slacks, dress shorts collared shirts tucked in, and appropriate footwear. Jackets are recommended, but not required. Women’s attire should be consistent with acceptable standards and in good taste including dresses, slacks, medium-length skirts and dress shorts, and blouses.
Denim is not permitted after 5:00pm with exception to Trivia Night on Thursdays and unless modified for specific club events. Please refer to the specified dress code in the flier distributed for each special event. Men and women must remove golf caps/visors inside the clubhouse.
For awards ceremonies which immediately follow the conclusion of a tournament, Golf attire, caps & visors are permitted. Caps/visors are to be worn always facing forward.
Expectations for children’s attire should follow the same guidelines as for men and women.
Not permitted at any time in the clubhouse: tank tops, midriff shirts, t-shirts, cargo shorts/pants, cut-offs, jean shorts, spandex shorts, running shorts, short shorts, warm-up suits/exercise attire, sweatshirts/hoodies of any kind, swimming attire, or flip flops.
Golf Course & Practice Areas
Proper golf attire is required for all players. Improperly dressed golfers shall be asked to change before playing. If you are in doubt concerning your attire, please check with the golf shop before starting play Proper attire on our golf course, practice range, and all putting greens is expected to conform in style to the following:
Men’s proper attire includes a collared golf shirt, mock collar, or mock turtleneck with sleeves. Sweaters, pullovers, jackets, slacks, golf shorts which are similar in style to walking and/or Bermuda shorts of an appropriate and tasteful length. Shirts must be always tucked in on the golf course. Baseball style caps are to be worn facing forward.
Women’s proper attire should be consistent with accepted standards and good taste. Dresses, slacks medium-length skirts and shorts, golf shirts/blouses and golf outerwear are appropriate. Golf shirts may be sleeveless shirts with collars or collarless shirts with sleeves for women.
Golf Shoes are required at all times while playing on the course. Metal spikes are prohibited.
Not permitted at any time: tank tops, midriff shirts/dresses, t-shirts, cargo shorts/pants, cut-offs, jean shorts, running shorts, short shorts, spandex shorts, warm-up suits/exercise attire, sweatshirts/hoodies of any kind, racquet attire, swimming attire, flip flops, jogging shoes, metal spike golf shoes.
